Ceramic tapes
Since 2019, we have been developing our own ceramic film formulations for SOFC and SOEC cells, which gives us full control over their composition, quality and properties. We manufacture anodic, electrolyte and barrier ceramic tapes on a laboratory scale, and in parallel we are developing the technology to produce them on an industrial scale.
Our proprietary tapes are the basis for DFC cells - fully ceramic, double-sided fixed-oxide cells that we design, build and test in-house. By being independent of third-party material suppliers, we ensure greater reproducibility of parameters, process stability and shorter deployment time for your research or commercial project.

FAQ - questions and answers
Is it possible to order ceramic tapes with non-standard compositions or properties?
Yes, we can modify ceramic tapes for you to match their properties to your process. Contact us and our specialists will prepare a suitable offer after consultation with you.
Can I get technical support in optimizing my tape sintering and lamination processes?
In addition to supplying finished tapes, we also offer technical support for casting, sintering and laminating ceramic tapes. We can help you optimize your formulations and process parameters or support you by transferring some of your processes to our laboratory.
Can ceramic tapes produced in HT be used in other technologies?
Our proprietary films are created for the production of two-sided rDSC cells, but are used for the production of any type of SOFC and SOEC cells. Ceramic tapes also form the basis of the manufacturing process for ceramic capacitors and thin-film electronics.
At HydrogenTech, we are eager to explore new applications for our technology and are constantly expanding its potential. If you see the potential of using ceramic tapes in your project, we invite you to contact us - we will be happy to help you develop the optimal solution.
